We’re seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to serve as the most senior technical contributor within our Platform team. In this role, you’ll play a strategic and hands-on part in designing, automating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You’ll drive technical decision-making, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor other engineers, ensuring our platform is secure, efficient, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep cloud expertise with a leadership mindset and a drive to enable seamless developer productivity.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Architect & Lead Cloud Infrastructure : Design and implement resilient, high-performance cloud systems, guiding best practices in scalability, security, and reliability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Lead infrastructure-as-code efforts using Terraform and AWS CDK, setting high standards for automation, security, and resilience.
- Mentorship & Development : Mentor other engineers on cloud best practices, operations, and platform strategy, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- CI / CD Pipeline Automation : Create and maintain CI / CD pipelines, enabling seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Observability & Monitoring : Drive metrics-based operational strategies, implementing advanced observability tools for proactive monitoring and effective incident response.
- Security & Compliance : Enforce security standards across cloud and platform environments, with a focus on disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA).
- Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve complex performance and scalability issues across distributed cloud systems, implementing autoscaling and resource optimization strategies.
