Key Responsibilities
• Oversee a team of 8-10 members, providing coaching, development, and technical resources to ensure team success.
• Develop and implement facilities maintenance training programs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing facility operations, including equipment installation, vendor training, and drawing reviews.
• Manage daily operations and maintenance for plant utility and building systems, prioritizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
• Identify and resolve operational issues through proactive problem-solving and countermeasure implementation.
• Support project planning and management coordination for energy and water reduction initiatives.
• Lead activities to achieve company targets and objectives, including key performance indicators for safety, quality, cost, and other metrics.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting the growth of next-generation facilities maintenance team members.
Requirements
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance leadership, preferably in the manufacturing industry or equivalent military background.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, specifically Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi, and ability to read/understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software.
• Ability to pass Toyota's Skilled Maintenance Assessment Testing (written and practical).
Education
A technical-focused college degree, such as electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
