What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Developer position at Toyota?
Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently looking for a Software Developer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, KY in a hybrid working model.
This position is a 12-month assignment, with potential to extend, with a pay range of $60-70/Hr. Hours include some weekend hours when needed. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
Toyota Production Engineering (PE) division's Digital Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering (DIME) department is looking for an experienced C#.NET web application developer to work as part of a Scrum team to build applications to improve efficiency and reduce lead time for the PE division's team members.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Expert level knowledge in developing C# .NET web applications (.NET Core is a plus).
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies and support the continuous improvement of the team’s processes
- Proficient in the following: Angular, MVC Framework, MS SQL Server, IIS (at least one)
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum
- Must be prepared to show and/or discuss examples of previously developed systems/applications.
- Expert level knowledge in designing relational databases
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Experience working as part of a Scrum Team
- Experience building web applications using MS Azure Cloud Services
- Proficient in the following: Windows Server, Active Directory
- Automotive or other manufacturing industry experience
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
