Who we’re looking for :
The TFS Enterprise Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated person to fill an opening as a Sr. Manager Software Engineering , to help our growing Enterprise platform needs.
The Sr. Manager Software Engineering is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all technology-related initiatives within the assigned Enterprise platforms and frameworks factory. This role entails developing and executing the factory’s technology strategy to ensure alignment with overarching business objectives. The Sr. Manager Software Engineering must leverage their technical expertise to drive innovation and deliver impactful business outcomes. Additionally, they should possess strong influencing skills to shape strategy and forge partnerships both internally and externally. Collaborates with Technology Domain Owners (TDOs), Enterprise Architecture, Data Domain Owners (DDOs), and Business Domain Owners (BDOs).
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement the domain’s technology strategy including transformational roadmaps.
- Participate actively in project planning and prioritization sessions to ensure initiatives align with business goals.
- Own delivery excellence (high quality standards for code and applications, ownership of functional & non-functional requirements).
- Ensure development quality and testing to enable effective and efficient transition of solutions from development to production within the organization’s existing cloud ecosystem.
- Manage and enforce enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
- Staff, mentor, and grow technical talent (people management).
- Provide regular reports to senior executives on the status of the factory, including performance and incident management.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools and integrate this knowledge to improve methodologies and solutions.
