EHSS Front Desk Team Member
Shift: First Shift (4:45am - 1:30pm) and Night Shift (8:45pm - 5:30am)
Toyotetsu Texas has two (2) openings for EHSS Front Desk Team Member openings.
Support daily plant operations in the areas of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS). This position primarily supports all responsibilities at the front desk and performs site checks in and outside the facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supply front desk with PPE for visitors.
- Replace flags in front of the building as needed.
- Respond to and report emergencies in accordance with procedures.
- Conduct Interior & Exterior Rounds accordingly to your provided check sheets
- Identify and report any hazardous condition
- Issue lockers.
- Administers Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Testing.
Environment & Health
- Check out ditches and drains after it rains
- Walk through (look at waste storage areas, recycling areas, plants, etc.)
- Check wastewater tank
- Check scrap and recycling hoppers outside building
- Conduct inspections of spill kits, fire extinguishers, and eye wash station
- Support shipment of chemicals that includes proper labeling, proper loading of chemicals and proper documentation.
Safety & Security
- Monitor cameras (video, position of cameras & operations) as necessary throughout the shift.
- Patrol the perimeter of the facility and parking lot to verify TTTX policies are enforced.
- Communicate TTTX policies as needed to Team Members.
- Prepare daily written report that as a pass down for next shift and/or incident reporting.
- Receive and handle front desk phone calls daily.
- When assigned, conduct Bag Searches and/or Vehicle Searches.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 30lbs.
- Complete all other duties as assigned proper documentation.
Qualifications
Experience
- Proficient in the use of computers.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Application (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility is vital in the role
