What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Engineering Specialist position at Toyotomi America Corporation?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Attach additional sheets if needed):
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following
- Manage and support all Automation Projects: Work with Engineering and Maintenance on all new equipment to ensure TAC standards are followed
- Conduct equipment/hardware audits to identify improvement opportunities
- Working closely with other departments to improve efficiency and quality control.
- Training: Train team members on the proper process of adjusting and maintaining Automation/Electronic hardware.
Support duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following
- Review New OEM cell PLC and HMI designs at Vendors: will require communication with Vendor design engineers and review of their code to ensure it meets needs and TAC Standards
- Issue Monitoring and support for Maintenance: May require some off-hour phone support or in person system monitoring projects with vendors.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Technical Competencies
a) PLC / HMI programming (Mitsubishi preferred)
b) Electrical circuit design experience
c) Electrical component specification experience
d) System integration experience
e) Robot Programming experience a plus
f) Computer programming knowledge - multiple languages
g) Daily work on the floor
h) Electrical trouble shooting ability
