About Parameta Solutions
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview
The strategic leader of the US sales team is responsible for driving revenue growth across key markets, with accountability for maintaining the existing revenue base and developing new business opportunities across the Americas. Increasing penetration into new and high-growth markets is a key part of the remit.
Contributing to the regional marketing strategy and effectively communicating market developments to the product team are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves constructing, forecasting, and managing the pipeline through Salesforce.com to ensure organized tracking of opportunities.
The position also encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, such as territory strategy, key account planning, and coaching and mentoring the team.
This is a hybrid, 3-day in-office position at our Vesey St. location.
Role Responsibilities
Leadership
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that drives results.
- Proactively identify new revenue opportunities – conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Drive contract negotiations in partnership with Legal.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proactively manage the cultural environment, encouraging behaviours that promote respect and comply with policy and Company values
- Promote staff development and competence by ensuring that skills or knowledge gaps are met with appropriate training and development, as required, in order to perform their roles to their maximum capability and fulfil their potential.
Experience / Competences
Essential
- Excellent track record in sales and account management.
- Previous experience in the financial markets.
- Strong background in growing established revenue streams, ideally in the financial market data space.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment, showcasing a results-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions, utilising metrics to drive strategy and performance.
- Experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies, demonstrating leadership in driving growth initiatives.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop the team to deliver results.
- Proficient with Salesforce and sales analytics tools, ensuring effective management of sales processes and performance tracking.
Desired
- Familiarity with key client personas including Buy Side, Sell Side, and Energy & Commodities.
- Experience with advanced market analysis tools and software that support data-driven decision-making and trend forecasting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution of sales strategies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong skills in nurturing long-term relationships with clients, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction through effective account management.
