In this position you will report directly to the Senior Director of Program Management and Product Operations. You will play a key role in the development of mobile applications for consumer networking and smart home products. You will initiate, manage, monitor, and report on software development projects by collaborating directly with mobile app software engineering team for both iOS and Android. You will also work closely with peer project managers and cross-functional leaders.
The Agile Software Engineering Project Manager manages software development activities for consumer products by working directly with software engineering, QA, product managers, and by closely collaborating with product development project managers in both US and China. Your goal is to enable the launch of new consumer-level networking and smart home products which are enabled by TP-Link mobile apps. The successful candidate is a capable project manager with a blend of technical knowledge and leadership to independently deliver software projects from start to successful release.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage software project development activities for iOS and Android Apps for consumer electronics, networking, IoT, and smart home group
- Initiate, track, measure, and report on software development project activities including risks, dependencies, and mitigation
- Ability to interact directly with software engineering team members to lead them in delivering software projects within scope, schedule, and quality
- Independently lead software projects from start to finish with successful implementation and release to users
- Manage interaction and technical communication with technical teams, peer project managers, and upper management responsible for product delivery
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
- 4-5 years of experience in software development project management preferably involving SW development for consumer electronics and cloud/app-related projects
- Demonstrated technical capability in delivering software projects from start-to-finish including software quality and release management
- Background in iOS or Android software development is desirable
- Work with local and remote engineering teams to align mobile App releases with hardware product development activities
- Proficiency in Agile development process and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, and MS Project
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or relevant field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Experience working on mobile app projects integrating hardware functionality and cloud services
- Bilingual Mandarin-English speaking and writing is highly desirable
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000
