Job Overview
TPC Food Service is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food Safety Coordinator to oversee and maintain our food safety programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) regulations and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program.
- Conduct regular food safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and educate employees on food safety protocols, good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and sanitation procedures.
- Work closely with quality assurance, production, and regulatory agencies to ensure food safety compliance.
- Investigate food safety incidents, customer complaints, and nonconformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update food safety documentation and records for regulatory and audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with allergen control, traceability, recall procedures, and sanitation requirements.
- Stay up to date with FSMA regulations, industry best practices, and emerging food safety trends.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- In-depth knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, and GMPs.
- Experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or food safety compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Preferred:
- HACCP certification.
- Experience with third-party food safety audits
- Proficiency in food safety management systems and documentation.
