TPC Sawgrass, located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is the birthplace of the TPC Network and the backdrop to PGA TOUR headquarters.
Within the Mediterranean-Style, 77,000 square foot clubhouse, we provide our PGA TOUR Players, Families, Executives, Members and Guests with truly memorable culinary and service experiences in multiple dining outlets, beautifully appointed banquet and meeting spaces, and an expansive gallery.
For the golf enthusiast, we provide a world class golf experience on either of our two PGA TOUR championship courses, including the famous Stadium Course, home to THE PLAYERS Championship.
If you are looking to improve your game, our PGA TOUR’s Performance Center offers lessons from the top PGA instructors in the industry as well as club fitting and fitness.
The Coordinator works with the Assistant Golf Professionals to serve Members and Guests in the Golf Shop. They are most influential in generating retail sales for the club.
They conscientiously tend to the needs of the players and guests ensuring that their golf experience runs as smoothly and enjoyably as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school education or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of general business practices, retail sales practices and procedures as would be acquired through one to two years of similar experience
- Previous customer experience required
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and Guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible
- Greet and welcome Members and Guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Members, Guests, and fellow staff Members
- Answer questions and provide assistance and information to Members & Guests
- Accurately record time and date of reservation in the online reservation system
- Make corrections and update online reservation system as appropriate when reservations have been filled or canceled
- Email and telephone members / guests to verify advance reservations
- Advises guests of any abnormal golf course conditions (overseeding, aerification etc.)
- Communicate with local hotels / resorts concerning golf course profile (conditions)
- Accurately open, operate and close the point of sale system per the Club Operations Manual
- Handles and count cash, make accurate change, record credit cards, gift certificates and Member charges described by standard operating procedures
- Collect green fees, car fees, and other incomes
- Assist with physical inventories as required
- Assist with the daily cleaning of the golf shop to ensure continued cleanliness and appearance of the Golf Shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays
- Ensure that displays are kept at par stock inventory levels at all times and that the appearance meets or exceeds PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc. standards
- Professionally communicate information, sell merchandise, and become fully knowledgeable in all products and sales techniques.
Anticipate the needs of Members and Guests and offer appropriate merchandise alternatives
- Assist with all closing procedures for the Golf Shop
- Communicate up to date information accurately and effectively using radio communications to all areas of the golf course (i.
e. Caddie master, outside operations, maintenance, etc.)

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand;

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
