Duties and Responsibilities for Office Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate construction tasks to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Assists in the administration of the construction contract.
- Performs reviews for approval of contractor's monthly pay estimates. as applicable.
- Maintains as-built record drawings, and project files.
- Assists in project administration by logging, tracking, and processing requests for information (RFI), submittals, change orders, and other project deliverables.
- Attend meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
- Document all on-site observations of construction progress such as equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports required when needed.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
- EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required)
- NICET Certification: I-IV is a plus (not required).
- ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 Preferred.
- Experience with roadway or bridge construction is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must know Word and Excel
- Valid Driver’s License
