Business Transient & Diplomatic Sales Manager

The Glover Park Hotel is looking for a Business Transient & Diplomatic Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage corporate transient accounts to maximize revenue and market share.
• Identify, solicit, and contract new corporate & diplomatic business through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
• Negotiate c rates and agreements with Diplomatic local, national, and global corporate accounts.
• Work with travel managers, TMCs, and procurement teams to position the hotel as a preferred choice for business travelers.
• Manage RFPs (Request for Proposals) and participate in the annual RFP season to secure long-term business.
• Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
• Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and account data within the CRM system.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to showcase hotel amenities and benefits.
• Participate in networking events, industry trade shows, and local business organizations to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
• Salary range 60k - 75k plus bonus potential
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1-2 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in business transient sales or diplomatic sales.
• Strong understanding of corporate travel programs, RFP processes, and Embassy partnerships.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
