What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loss Prevention Officer position at TPG Hotels and Resorts?
The Loss Prevention Officer patrols the property and grounds, and responds to security and emergency situations in a safe and efficient manner with policies and procedures, brand standards, federal and local federations. Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damages, engineering items, safety hazards to management effectively.
Complies with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name badge and professional greeting.
Knowledgeable on property facilities and services to assist guests, associates, and vendors. Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand, and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices, and regulations. Impresses guests with high-quality and timely service in a pleasant and professional manner at all times.

Essential Functions
- Know and comply with all safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Complete a Daily Activity Report with clear and detailed information
- Patrol all areas of the property including grounds, parking lots, employee areas, guest rooms and hallways, etc.
- Note, search, handle, and report any unusual circumstances, safety violations, car or property theft, accidents and injuries.
- Maintain constant emergency readiness. Respond immediately to all emergency alarms and call for assistance.
- Enforce the "No Solicitation Policy" of the property if necessary
- Escort Suspicious or undesirable persons off property.
- Witness cash handling procedures.
- Handle the Key inventory procedures
- Attend Department meetings
