Job Overview
As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests at the hotel pool area. You will uphold the highest standards of guest service while maintaining pool cleanliness, monitoring pool safety, and assisting guests with their needs.
What You'll be Doing
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with poolside amenities, such as towels, umbrellas, and seating arrangements.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including picking up trash, organizing pool furniture, and ensuring pool decks are clear of hazards.
- Monitor pool and surrounding areas to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure compliance by all guests.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns regarding pool usage and amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate departments.
- Assist with poolside food and beverage service as needed.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
What You Bring
Working Conditions & Physical Effort :
Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and / or loud noises. The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
