What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Lead position at TPG Marinas?
TPG Marinas is hiring a Dock Lead as part of the support team members for the 2025 Season. This full-time seasonal position will work directly with the TPG Marinas team to support the day to day needs of the marina including vessel cleaning and coordination of onboard provisions. This position will work with multiple departments within TPG Marinas to facilitate the marina running smoothly and ensure a high quality customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as Lead for customer interaction and engagement.
- Determine and maintain staffing needs to perform all functions of marina operations in accordance with TPG standards and practices.
- Ensure the facility and equipment are properly maintained, taking into consideration financial impact, aesthetics as well as function.
- Establish and implement high standards of cleanliness and professional service to customers.
- Administration and sales of transient and short term storage
- Act as the bridge from the marina to the Taylor Point service department
- Maintain adequate records of dockage, moorage, insurance, and sales.
- Enforce the terms and conditions of the agreements as well as the marina?s rules and regulations.
- Rhythm meetings and reporting as determined by TPG Marinas.
- Identify/implement new strategies to grow revenues and manage expenses.
- Take charge and direct function of all personnel in connection with all emergencies.
- Assist in any operation where a temporary shortage of help creates a problem.
- Attend and participates in industry events as required by TPG Marinas
- Any other duties as assigned by TPG Marinas and the direct Manager
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must have reliable transportation for use during work day
- Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work on a team and independently.
- Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawling
- General boating knowledge is a plus
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas. Comfortability with ladders and confined spaces is required. Ability to work in the elements regularly.
