Description of Position


This position is for a professional level on the Stock Plan Administration team within the People Operations function. The position will design, develop, and maintain and support all stock plan day to day activities and partner with external and internal stakeholders. This position will also ensure that all data within our third-party equity platform (Morgan Stanley) is up to date and accurate. This position will be performing global Equity-related duties on a manager level and works closely with Morgan Stanley, Legal, Finance, and HRIT to deliver excellent results in all matters related to equity compensation.


Principal Responsibilities


• Support day-to-day administration of the company’s equity program (i.e. equity grants, equity releases, etc.)

• Process and monitor equity award activities, including grants, agreements, vesting, exercises, and employee terminations. Assist with the Forms 3, 4 and 5 filing to the SEC.

• Serve as primary person responsible for answering any incoming queries to UTM/Equity inbox multiple times a day by prioritizing and providing superior level of service for equity-related questions and requests from employees, management, and other stakeholders.

• Generate reports from the Morgan Stanley database for business partners and respond to ad-hoc requests. Serve as primary person responsible for all incoming report requests for the MS reports.

• Assist with regular and custom reports to support financial disclosures, equity award tables, and beneficial ownership tables for SEC filings (Form 10K, 10Q, proxy statements) and other ad-hoc reports.

• Prepare the stock grant files timely and share with manager or director for approval.

• Maintain Morgan Stanley database and always ensure accuracy. Work with team members on data uploads and reconcile the data in test and production environment for completeness and accuracy.

• Prepare quarterly dividend calculations for the dividend equivalent units timely.

• Monitor China SAFE reports for activity and work with Morgan Stanley to transfer funds.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly SOX equity controls. Assist with internal and external audits with equity matters.

• Participate in or lead additional projects as needed.

• Process employee/participant account updates and activity related to grants, vesting, releases, exercises, settlements, terminations, and cancellations.

• Assist with the year-end processes.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of all equity information and maintain SOX compliance.

• Interact with transfer agent to ensure trades are settled timely and initiate and reconcile DWAC transactions.


Requirements


• Bachelor of Science, Accounting, or Bachelor of Arts.

• 4 years of progressive experience in stock administration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address ad-hoc requests with innovative solutions.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and advanced Excel skills.

• Preferred understanding of equity instruments (Restricted Stock Units, Performance Units), deferred comp, and ESPP.

• Experience working cross-functionally on equity matters with Payroll, Legal, and Accounting, Operations and HR teams.

• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

• Preferred experience with the Morgan Stanley Shareworks platform.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many new challenges.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written.
