We are enabling many of the industry’s leading wind turbine original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to outsource the manufacturing of a larger portion of their wind blades, thus expanding their global wind blade capacity. About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Finance professional to be responsible for managing, assisting, and performing work in all aspects of accounting including financial statement preparation, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage plant standard costing system and bill of material changes.
- Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories.
- Compare actual costs to estimates and analyze variances.
- Monitor and maintain inventory costs integrity on a timely basis.
- Manage and maintain bill of material changes, cost tracking, analysis and performance results.
- Manage plant inventory, perform inventory reconciliations, and prepare cycle counts.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs, including leading and participating in cost reduction projects.
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Assist with audits and lead internal control compliance.
- Participate in month end close analysis and tasks (create and post journal entries, assist with forecast and monthly reports, etc.).
- Build strong interdepartmental relationships with Operations, Quality, Materials, Maintenance, HR and corporate finance.

Who we’re looking for:
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and of 3–5 years
- hands-on experience in a manufacturing accounting environment.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Must be able to work in a flexible, team environment, demonstrate critical decision-making skills and have strong interpersonal and communication abilities; as well as a strong work ethic, high energy, and excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Oracle ERP experience preferred

This is a hybrid role at our wind blade manufacturing site in Newton, Iowa. Local candidates only; relocation assistance is not available for this position.
