Corporate Special Events Coordinator
Location : Jackson, MI 49201
Contract Duration : Until Aug 31, 2025, with a high likelihood of extension

Position Overview :
The Corporate Special Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-profile executive meetings and events for CMS Energy. This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple complex tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The position focuses on creating exceptional experiences for company leaders and ensuring that all events are flawlessly executed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Event Planning and Coordination : Plan, organize, and execute leadership meetings and special events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet event requirements, coordinating with executive assistants, vendors, and service providers.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Logistics Management : Oversee all logistical aspects, including scheduling, equipment setup, and on-site coordination.
- Event Experience Design : Develop and implement engaging and immersive event concepts aligned with corporate objectives. Utilize technology, décor, and interactive elements to create impactful experiences.
- Communication : Prepare and distribute event-related materials such as invitations, agendas, and post-event follow-ups.
- Problem-Solving : Address and resolve issues that arise during the planning and execution phases to ensure a smooth event experience.
- Post-Event Evaluation : Conduct evaluations to gather feedback, identify improvement areas, and enhance future events.
