Location- Client Footprints location in all over USA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
NOTE : No Per diem- Candidate Must reside within 50 miles of a Client Footprints location office and They will need to travel 10-15% of the time.
Job Summary
- A HVAC and plumbing engineer interested in working on a diverse collection of building configurations. Under general supervision, capable of performing all aspects of conventional design engineering, analysis, and studies on new and existing structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for Black & Veatch’s Global projects.
- The Mechanical Engineer level 5 position is responsible for the engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities.
- The HVAC Team is engaged in the following:
- Design and Construction Activities o Project Delivery Methods - Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid Build.
- Facility Types – Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures, Water Treatment and Energy Storage buildings.
- Systems – HVAC and Plumbing. o Type of Areas – Power Generation Hall, Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, Wastewater treatment building and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.
- Studies o Energy Audit/Efficiency - Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations.
- Code Review/Application - Facility review for code compliance o Sustainable Design/LEED - Application of sustainable strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

- Person needs to be a LEED AP certified professional experienced in obtaining LEED’s certification for industrial buildings. (Preferred)
