Professional Engineer

This is an ONSITE role in Muscle Shoals, AL.

The Engineering department provides safe, creative, quality and “in place cost efficient” structural and construction engineering solutions for internal customers (e.g. manufacturing, project management and field erection) as well as external customers with superior customer service.
The Professional Engineer uses engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services and models for customers.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Provide well-utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customers’ requirements.Assure building’s structural integrity and safetyDevelop own advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledgeFocus on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work teamAssure customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedulesProvide technical assistance to customers on specific projects as well as to new entry level designersDevelop structural quotesQualifications :
Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in EngineeringFour (4) years of engineering experienceSolid knowledge of building codes and specificationsPreferred Education & Experience Qualifications :
Minimum Two plus years of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) experienceCompetent knowledge of company product and design proceduresAutoCAD and Tekla experienceCompetent in company systems and applicationsTechnical Skills & Competencies :
