Job Description
We are hiring a Project Engineer III specializing in Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) engineering for our Gas Compression Engineering department. The role involves delivering electrical and I&C engineering solutions for both modification and new construction projects related to the natural gas compression fleet.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with engineering projects, including design, plans, inspections, system planning, specifications, reports, environmental impacts, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, data collection, construction observation, and field investigation.
- Plan, design, construct, and maintain natural gas compression stations and related facilities.
- Ensure compliance with government and company laws, standards, and procedures while delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage contract documents, including engineering drawings and technical specifications for consulting and construction services.
- Provide technical expertise to coworkers and clients through effective oral and written communication.
- Serve as the onsite engineering project representative to review operating and construction sites, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with design documents.
- Exhibit strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to coordinate successful project completion.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or I&C Engineering.
- Knowledge of design, construction, or operation of industrial facilities and/or gas compressor stations.
- Experience in procurement of engineered materials, equipment, and professional services.
- Proven experience in coordinating and developing contract documents, including engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, emergent work, and outages.
