Job Title: Business/Technical Analyst III
Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid Role)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (with Possible Extension)
W2 only
Department: operational technology (team does Operations and IT)
- team performs supervisory control acquisitions - front end development and back end and day to date project work that keeps the screen up to date so they can control the natural gas system
- undergoing the commissioning for state-of-the-art SCADA system - performing an upgrading from a system from early 90's - a lot of structured and unstructured user acceptance testing
- 5 individuals - 1 SCADA engineer will be assigning the deliverables and will be working with both analysts closely
- technology migrating from is SciTech and migrating to OSI Monarch
Responsibilities:
- cross functional role - commissioning the system - needs in person interaction
- will focus more on structured testing - higher level requirements for reporting out defects and bugs
- articulate bugs and communicate recommended action items moving forward to stakeholders
Skills:
- 5 years
- SCADA experience preferred - development or supporting SCADA systems
- 4-year degree required
- high technical proficiency - broad range of software or software development, commissioning, broad familiarity with test tools and methodologies
- Excel spreadsheets, ADO (Azure DevOps)
- strong communication skills and ability to problem solve
