About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Tekla Structures and a background in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) or structural steel design. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing structural designs and connection details for steel buildings, ensuring building integrity and safety by following industry standards and building codes.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop detailed structural designs and connection details for steel buildings.
Ensure all designs meet safety standards and industry regulations.
Collaborate with the detailing, manufacturing, and project teams to optimize designs and improve efficiency.
Provide technical guidance to internal teams and external clients.
Assist in developing structural quotes and cost-effective solutions.
Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
At least 4 years of experience in structural engineering.
Strong knowledge of Tekla Structures software.
Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) or structural steel design.
A solid understanding of building codes and specifications.
