Technical Analyst/Writer II

Contract Duration: Until 12/31/2025 (Potential for Extension)
Location: Fully Remote (Onsite Required Once a Quarter or Once a Month)
Department Overview:
The team consists of 2 engineers, 4 technical analysts, 3 content developers, a records specialist, and an intern. The department is currently working on a major project to reauthor standards for the gas sector, covering engineering and operations. With the project already 40% completed, additional technical analysts/writers are needed to assist in completing this initiative by the end of the year.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate multiple documents into a single, comprehensive document.
- Review and reorganize complex technical documentation to improve information management.
- Assist engineers with documentation-related tasks and various project needs.
- Provide recommendations for structuring and managing content effectively.
- Collaborate with a small, dynamic team in an unstructured environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in technical writing and document drafting/management.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Word, including comment tracking and document structuring.
- Experience with content coding and reauthoring.
- Technical knowledge related to construction or utilities (preferred).
- Ability to work in an evolving and unstructured environment.
Educational Requirements:
- Associate degree with 4 years of experience or
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience.
