Nestled in the heart of Southwest Florida’s vibrant landscape, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach, under the proud operation and ownership of TPI Hospitality, offers not just a job but an opportunity for unparalleled personal and professional growth.
Our Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a safe and friendly environment for employees and guests by assisting guests with transportation needs and baggage assistance, when required. All duties are performed in accordance with department policies, practices, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include:
Transportation Services:
- Safely transport guests and employees to and from predetermined locations using company shuttle vehicles.
Luggage Assistance:
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their luggage to and from the vehicle, ensuring their belongings are handled with care.
Guest Interaction:
- Maintain courteous and engaging conversation with guests during the journey and assist them with directions or any inquiries they may have.
Customer Service:
- Answer guests' questions in a polite and helpful manner, providing information about the hotel or local area as needed.
Communication:
- Maintain constant communication with the supervisor or manager, providing updates on shuttle operations and any relevant information.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks before each run to ensure the shuttle is in optimal condition for safe operation.
Traffic Compliance:
- Obey all traffic rules and regulations while operating the shuttle, ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.
Location Reporting:
- Keep the supervisor or manager informed of the shuttle's location and any deviations from the scheduled route.
Vehicle Care:
- Maintain the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the shuttle vehicle, ensuring it presents a professional and welcoming appearance to passengers.
Fuel Management:
- Return the vehicle with a full tank of gas at the end of each shift, ensuring it is ready for the next driver's use.
Flexibility:
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership, which may include operating other company vehicles or assisting with additional tasks as needed.
What you will bring:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- One (1) - two (2) years' experience in shuttle operations or similar is preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
