Cable Cutter
TPI Staffing has an i mmediate opening for a Cable Cutter in N. Houston. This is a temp to hire position paying $ 16-$18 / hr. First shift 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm. If you are interested and qualified, please email your resume to YomaliA@tpistaffing.com
Summary
As a Cable Cutter , you will be a part of a team responsible for verifying and record keeping of all cables in inventory. You will also be responsible for fulfilling work orders for cable based on priority.
Responsibilities
- Prepares work by studying product and process documentation, parts lists, tools and fixtures.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory counts
- Cutting released cable orders, based on the priorities of production
- Return cable to inventory from work orders when jobs are complete by reconciling work orders and reverse consuming where applicable
- Sets up and operates appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures to cut, prep and trim cable in accordance with specifications.
- Works with Assembly Lead, QA, and Process Engineering to ensure product quality, by identifying and resolving assembly issues, as well as identifying and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Performs appropriate in process inspections and tests such as workmanship, dimensional, and interface gauging in accordance with product and process specifications.
- Records and documents all assembly related inspection and test results, materials / parts, tools, and fixtures in accordance with defined product and process specifications and assembly procedures.
- Performs all labor, parts, and related transactions on time and accurately in compliance with policies and procedures.
