Accounts Receivable Specialist - NW Houston, 77066
Direct Hire
Pay : $55K - $65K annually
Summary :
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented candidate who will perform and coordinate various accounts receivable (AR) and accounting duties within our organization to fit into our dynamic team. The accounts receivable (AR) specialist will report directly to the CFO for the time being. Our client offers a challenging, rewarding, and fun work experience. Duties :
- Generate, input, and send invoices to customers accurately and timely
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up or take appropriate actions on overdue accounts
- Foster relationships and coordinate with customers and co-workers to resolve any billing issues
- Input and reconcile payments to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Investigate and resolve customer queries related to invoices and payments
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency
- Compile weekly, month-end, and year-end reports and charts for review
- Asset in cash management and reconciliations
- Provide support and advice to management including efficiency, automation, and spending opportunities
- Aid with month-end closing activities such as journal entries and other ad hoc projects as needed
