Job Description

Position Title : Assembler (5 Openings)

Schedule : 6 : 00AM-3 : 00PM Monday-Friday

Pay : $16.45 - $18.00 / hr

Location : Northwest Houston

TEMP TO HIRE

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process by assembling gas chromatographs used in various industries. Attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Specific Accountabilities :

Assemble basic to complex instruments according to technical drawings, manuals, and engineering specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to ensure accurate assembly.
Follow established assembly procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in the final products.
Conduct thorough testing of instruments to verify functionality and performance.
Identify and troubleshoot any defects or issues in the assembled instruments.

Job Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing assembly (preferred)

Ability to work in demanding, fast paced environment

Can work independently and in team environment to accomplish goals / objectives

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Works well as a productive member of a team.

Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Uses various instruments and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.

Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion.

Reports any problems and alert appropriate staff.
