Machine Operator / Laser Operator – Immediate opening in Deer Park, Tx.

Temp to Hire

15 / hr

Summary

Perform required duties to produce and cut out rings, and related items by use of laser

equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Produce from work orders, set-up specifications, and related data.
• Place slugs or sheets on bed. Operate the computer to set up equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Punch in part numbers to get proper dimensions for final pieces. Ensure that laser cuts are correct and have small burs.
• Remove rings from bed and inspect using tools such as micrometer, caliber, pi tape, and measuring tape.
• Select and report to the supervisor defective materials, faulty equipment operation and questionable conditions. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties assigned by Supervisor.

• Ability to lift 25 - 50lbs
• Use and operate dollies and carts for lifting / moving heavy items.
