Test Automation - Project Quality Engineer
Pay Range : $33.54 / HR - $55.90 / HR

We are looking for a talented software automation engineer to join our team to help build the tools and frameworks to deliver high quality, innovative validation software to our customers. In this role you’ll have successful candidates will research, analyze and advocate for technologies and architectures to meet the wide range of solutions required from the team.
Ideal Experience :
Experience testing embedded software products
Experience designing and developing test cases from a user perspective
Write automated integration tests and system level tests to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product.
Write software tests in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality.
Help debug and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.
Job Description :
Applies technical expertise, commensurate with formal training and limited job experience, in the development of products and / or processes.
Work involves choosing between alternative proven technologies with some originality and moderate technical risk.
May provide technical support to service centers and international operations.
Performs process capability studies.
Designs and develops inspection techniques and equipment.
Recommends internal or vendor design, manufacturing and quality control changes to improve quality and reliability.
Develops internal or vendor inspection and test procedures and criteria to minimize quality and reliability related problems.
May develop and implement product audit testing to assure conformance to customer or internal specifications.
Chairs Material Review Board for assigned materials.
Develops and implements qualification testing and acceptance criteria on new or modified product, processes and materials.
Performs technical design review for and assures correction of potential quality and reliability problems for new or modified products.
Prepares detailed plans, generally spanning several months, necessary to complete assigned projects.
Develops quality, inspection and test planning on new projects, modified products or for customer special requirements.
Develops quality cost, equipment and facility requirements.
Develops assembly and service planning on international as well as a domestic basis.
Administers technical procedures.
Prepares and monitors compliance with standard quality, design and manufacturing procedures required to support the Quality Assurance Manual.
Conducts system audit and assures conformance to written policies, procedures and standards.
Designs and implements control requirements for equipment and special process.
Performs a review of customer proposals, purchase order and shipped goods to assure conformance to customer requirements.
Provides management information and analysis of total quality costs.
Establishes and maintains quality record and retrieval system.
May provide administrative guidelines to service centers and international operations.
Interacts on a regular basis with other functional groups and customers or vendors on technical and / or administrative matters.
Performs vendor surveys, corrective action negotiations, and approves or disapproves vendors.
Works directly with customer quality representatives.
Education :
Bachelors’ degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering
