Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
Pay : $15.00
First shift, Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm (must be flexible to OT)
This position is full-time, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
The position requires :
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish Preferred
- Use of sit-down forklift REQUIRED
- Previous warehouse experience 2 yrs, preferably in industrial operations
- Experienced with operating 5000lb gas lift truck and with long products a plus (over 20-ft).
- Perform all warehouse operations (receive material, pull orders, load trucks, complete paperwork, operate saw, hand tools and power tools, visual inspection of product, notify management of supplies needed, etc). Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and convert units of measure (weight per pound, metric to imperial); perform measurements, and work with fractions (convert fractions to decimals)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work in non-climate controlled warehouse environment
- Excellent safety and attendance records
