What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Response Supervisor/Manager position at TPM, Inc.?
- Responsible for management, safety, and oversight of all activities at TPM Group project sites. Ensure that all tasks are completed safely and compliant with regulatory requirements and to the customer's standards. Must be able to respond within one (1) hour of a response to our location. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in Emergency, Industrial and Environmental Spill Response.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Emergency Actions by TPM personnel on site.
- Works with local, state and Federal officials on spill cleanups.
- Manage and coordinate the efforts of all TPM onsite employees.
- Completion of daily paperwork and reports.
- Maintain employee safety (meetings, JSA's, PPE).
- Waste Profiling as needed.
- Sourcing subcontractors as needed.
- Provide status reports to Management as required.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Strong commitment to Safety
- 3-5 years field and supervisory experience in Environmental, Emergency Spill Remediation, Industrial Cleaning
- Valid driver's license
- Regulatory training as required.
- Leadership and Management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Good organizational skills, decisiveness, and initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite
- Ability to work little or no supervision
- Ability to work overtime, weekend, nights, and holidays as required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, pulling/pushing, stooping, crouching, and climbing
- Ability to lift >25 pounds
- Ability to perform overhead work
- Pass medial exam including respirator clearance
- Ability to travel
