HIRING 3 POSITIONS
LONG TERM CONTRACT
LOCATION: This team travels nationwide.
- Candidates need to live within a 100-mile radius of a major airport.
- Central and Northern portions of the U.S.
- NOT West of Colorado
TRAVEL: up to 100%
- This team works nationally - up to 100 percent.
- They are working inside Central Office environments - traveling from site to site.
- Flown into the start market by the client - client directly pays for ticket
- Per Diems
- Reimbursements for parking, tolls, etc.
- Mileage is $0.45 per mile for contractors - when they drive their own vehicles. For this role that would likely only be a once in a while need as they are typically travelling nationally.
HOURS/SHIFT:
- work up to 60-hour work week
- Six 10-hour shifts.
- Continuously work weekdays but get at least one day off a week.
- Schedule is flown into market for up to four weeks and then are sent home for a long weekend. Typically, they fly home on the Friday of the third weekend and then fly back out that Monday. Travel home is covered by the client.

Job Summary:
The Installation Technician Level 4 will be required to perform all intermediate and advanced installation work activities. The Installation Technician Level 4 should have a clear understanding of all Installation and Quality Standards contained in GR-1275 and NSTD119 Standards as well as specific CBMA and customer local requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with minimum supervision and be certified in Skill levels 1, 2 and 3
- Input job status, issues and requests and all-expense-related information into the Project Management platform.
- Reconcile materials for sales order using web-based inventory control forms
- Understand the scope of work and customer expectations as well as the profitability objectives and timeframes.
- Control all on-site aspects of the job and work closely with the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Understand the scope of work of the job as well as the efficiency expectations given by the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Interface directly with the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager and Engineering Department to resolve any order issues. Correct job specifications, drawings, documentation and record all changes in the Project Management platform.
- Maintain tools assigned to the job as well as monitor tool calibration requirements
- Perform hardware testing, such as power verification, device provisioning and system tests.
- Responsible for all work meeting all customer standards.
- Meet or exceed customer and internal documented acceptable levels of quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 5 years Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of basic power tools.
- Ability to adapt to various work environments
- Optical routing equipment installations
- Fiber optic cable installation & testing practices
- AC/DC power
- Infrastructure installation work (equipment racks, cable racks and fiber duct etc.)
Credentials and Experience:
Requires minimum of 5 years of Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience
