Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Collect and stack empty pallets weighing up to 75lbs per pallet
- Collect and stack empty cardboard sheets.
- Collect and discard used shrink wrap
- Sweep freezer, cooler and dry warehouse isles
- Able to move in a full range of physical activity including bending and lifting weight
- from 1 -75 lbs.
- Support facilities maintenance by identifying areas needing attention or repair.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as porter, custodial staff, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to facilities maintenance.
