Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and storage areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company policies regarding safety procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking product movement and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
