What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Traba App?
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is a consistent opportunity and requires candidates to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment and be comfortable operating a variety of forklifts and other equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking and palletizing tasks with accuracy and speed
- Use pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks as needed
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Forklift certification is preferred
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center
- Familiarity with order picking, pallet jack operation, and handling heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of warehouse management practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cherry pickers and clamp trucks
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving
