What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Traba App?
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize products and materials within the warehouse. A valid driver's license is required alongside at least 2 years of experience operating a forklift.
Responsibilities may include:
- Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move products, materials, and supplies within the warehouse
- Use the forklift to load and unload products from delivery trucks and shipping containers, ensuring safe handling and correct placement
- Properly stack and organize goods in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse and optimize inventory flow
- Assist in picking and moving items to staging areas, preparing products for shipment or distribution to customers
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors
- Work closely with other warehouse staff to achieve daily goals, meet production targets, and maintain a smooth workflow
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more
