Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing/Assembly Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with assembly work, be comfortable operating machinery, and be proficient in using tools such as nail guns. Working primarily with wood, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers, to transport materials within the warehouse. Sit down forklift, Stand up forklift, Steel toe boots required.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods during shipping and receiving processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required by job duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor is a plus.
