Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at a potato distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Key Responsibilities
- Facility Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces.
- Floor Care: Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Material Handling: Collect and stack empty cardboard sheets and discard used shrink wrap appropriately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Sweep freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse aisles to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Physical Activity: Engage in tasks requiring a full range of motion, including bending and lifting items weighing between 1 to 75 lbs.
- Facilities Support: Identify and report areas needing attention or repair to support the overall maintenance of the facility.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as porter, custodial staff, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform duties involving lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing or moving.
- Ability to work effectively in cold environments.
