About Us
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth handling, labeling, and organization of materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and offload delivered materials.
- Inspect slabs and ensure all materials are labeled and in good condition.
- Pull and prepare materials as required by the daily cut schedule.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movement.
- Follow all company safety protocols and workplace guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience operating forklifts and cranes.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- No facial hair (for safety reasons).
Work Environment
- Requires physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and operating machinery.
- Work is performed in a warehouse or outdoor setting with varying temperatures and conditions.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
