What are the responsibilities and job description for the Moving Associate position at Traba App?
We are looking for an experienced mover who will be responsible for efficiently and safely packing, loading and relocating various items, furniture, and belongings for our clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the moving and storage industry and possess the physical strength and stamina required to handle heavy lifting.
Responsibilities may include:
- Safely and securely load, unload, and transport furniture, boxes, and other items to and from designated locations
- Ensure proper packaging, padding, and wrapping of delicate or fragile items to prevent damage during transit
- Utilize moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and straps to assist in the moving process and maximize efficiency
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling heavy items, avoiding any personal injury or damage to the property
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth and successful moving experience
- Conduct pre-move inspections to assess the scope of work and develop an appropriate moving strategy
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the moving truck, equipment, and storage facilities
- Follow established procedures for inventory management and accurately document items being moved or stored
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of moving assignments
