Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Measuring: Measure steel beams with 1/16-inch accuracy using measuring tape and other tools.
- Cutting Operations: Operate band saws to cut steel beams according to precise specifications.
- Punching Operations: Use a punch press to create hole patterns in steel beams per project requirements.
- Material Handling: Safely lift, maneuver, and transport heavy steel beams (up to 75 lbs) using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Quality Control: Ensure each fabrication step meets company standards for accuracy, durability, and safety.
- Workstation Management: Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience operating a band saw and punch press in a manufacturing or steel fabrication setting.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds while following proper safety protocols.
- Strong measuring skills using a tape measure with 1/16-inch accuracy.
