Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Operations Partner to drive the growth of our high-performing teams. You’ll partner directly with Traba’s executive team and leadership to shape the company’s trajectory, applying first-principles thinking to build high-performing teams. Like top investors, we focus on asymmetric upside – identifying and backing the highest-potential individuals to drive transformative impact when they first join and through their lifetime at the company.
This role is ideal for someone eager to build relationships at the highest levels, with experience engaging executives across industries, an analytical mindset, and a track record of operating in high-stakes environments. You know what the top 1% looks like because you’ve worked with them before. Former management consultants, investment bankers, and ex-Olympians who thrive in fast-paced, intellectually rigorous settings will excel here.
While recruiting and identifying top talent will be the majority of your day-to-day – all the best CEOs spend ~⅓ - ½ their time hiring, you’ll also have the opportunity to operate on a strategic level in shaping the future of our team, company and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Engagement & Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain relationships with top-tier professionals, engaging high-achievers from diverse backgrounds.
Strategic Talent Acquisition : Identify and attract world-class operators, leveraging a deep understanding of talent markets, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work directly with Traba’s founders and leadership team to define hiring strategies and be involved with team / org design.
Analytical & Data-Driven Approach : Use market insights, competitive intelligence, and data-driven strategies to optimize hiring decisions and influence growth initiatives.
Process Optimization : Design and implement scalable strategies that elevate Traba’s talent acquisition function beyond traditional recruiting.
Brand & Talent Positioning : Represent Traba as a destination for high-caliber talent, shaping the employer brand to attract exceptional professionals.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment (consulting, investment banking, VC / PE, or an elite talent acquisition role at a top-tier startup).
Ability to assess top 1% talent and high EQ.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess talent through both qualitative and quantitative lenses.
Deep experience engaging executives and top performers across industries.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at the highest levels.

Salary Range Details
The compensation range for this position is set between $100,000 and $130,000, reflecting our market analysis and other relevant considerations. However, exceptions may be made for candidates with qualifications that significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.
