Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and the use of your own vehicle .If you enjoy driving, working independently, and providing exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Delivery locations are Elizabeth City, South Mills/Camden, Hobbsville, Corapeake, Sunbury, Belvidere, Gatesville, Moyock/Maple/Currituck and Shawbro
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Experience
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with moving and heavy lifting tasks in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road.
