Job description
TRAC Associates, a social services organization establishing in 1983, is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. We focus on job development and vocational training for underrepresented populations. We are looking to add a valuable member to our dedicated staff and are actively seeking to employ a permanent full-time Re-Entry Employment Case Manager for formerly incarcerated individuals. This position will work out of the TRAC Associates downtown Seattle office (3rd & Pike).
As a Re-Entry Employment Case Manager, you will be expected to empower participants with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to secure meaningful employment and build a foundation for a brighter future.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Must have own transportation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience conducting job search support and placement (building resumes, career exploration, site development, placement, etc) required
- Experience community outreach to promote the program
- Experience working with the Re-entry population a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform needs assessments.
- Provide individualized career counseling, resume building, and interview preparation to support clients in their job search.
- Assist with career exploration and/or vocational training options based on individual interest.
- Collaborate with local employers to create job opportunities and advocate for fair hiring practices for individuals with a criminal history.
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, correctional facilities, and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the Reentry Program.
- Track and report on the progress of program participants, contributing to the overall success and impact of our initiatives.
- Be prepared to meet monthly goals and deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5,000.00 per month
