Quality Engineer Job Overview:
You will ensure the overall quality of machined parts by working with the manufacturing team as well as solve quality-related issues. You will test processes, monitor quality standards, create documentation, devise quality tests, and serve as the primary contact for inspection data submission.
You’ll be a great fit if:
- You can work with manufacturing as needed to solve quality related issues
- You can work with manufacturing to develop and maintain quality related documentation such as PFMEA’s, balloon drawings, quality inspection plans, process flowcharts, and process warrants
- You can maintain the company’s gage program to include calibration, maintenance, and procurement
- You are able to work with suppliers and customers on quality concerns
- You can function as the primary contact for inspection data submission as required to assigned customers
- You are able to oversee the corrective action (internal & supplier) system
- You can conduct internal audit, including sister companies
- You can conduct quality management system training
- You can perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
To be considered you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (open to new graduates or soon to graduate)
- 2-3 years related experience or a combination of education and experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with computer systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality management systems and a strong ability to interpret drawings
- Good understanding of the machining process
- A willingness to learn and grow
