What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Facilitator position at Trace Minerals?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- General building maintenance and repairs such as painting, remodeling, minor installation, pump operation and repair, etc.
- Facility cleanup, organization, and 5S activities.
- Assist technicians with assembly and disassembly of production equipment.
- Operate box truck, pickup truck, truck and trailer, forklift, scissor lift, etc.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the maintenance and storage areas.
- Oversee the liquid mineral transferring processes including working in the liquid mineral harvesting division.
- Any other tasks as assigned by management.
Expectations & Evaluation Criteria:
- Maintain a positive attitude, enthusiasm about the mission of the company direction, and doing what is necessary to help the company achieve its goals.
- Typical schedule will be a 4-day workweek, 10-hour workdays but will occasionally require schedule flexibility, which could include weekends.
- Refrain from gossiping about co-workers or the company.
- Use time efficiently and keep on task. If tasks are completed, ask managers to see what new tasks are needed.
- Keep personal phone calls, visitors, and non-work-related conversations to an absolute minimum.
- Maintain a high level of professional integrity and trustworthiness.
- Get along with co-workers and others.
- Follow through on assigned projects with quality work.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in facility/building maintenance preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to move 75lbs.
- Frequent standing and walking with ability to conduct indoor and outdoor activities.
