Job Summary :
TraceGains is seeking an experienced Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist to lead the development and application of AI- and statistical-driven methodologies that drive rapid innovation in formulation and quality solutions for CPG companies. This role is critical in shaping TraceGains' next-generation AI platform for the CPG industry.
As a key team member, you will develop predictive and prescriptive models, collaborate with AI / ML engineers and knowledge engineering teams, and scale AI-powered decision-making systems. The ideal candidate has expertise in AI-driven formulation optimization, machine learning, risk prediction, and constraint optimization techniques or the ability to adapt methodologies to these areas. Experience in deploying AI models to cloud-based environments is essential.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
Minimum Job Requirements :
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
And / or
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based ML tools
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with AI engineers, Knowledge engineers, data engineers, and product teams
Hands-on experience with generative AI for data augmentation and feature / metadata extraction, preferred but not required.
