What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Department Manager position at TRACEY ROAD EQUIPMENT?
Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking to hire full-time Parts Department Manager for the Erie, PA area. This position is responsible for retail heavy truck and construction equipment parts sales.
A successful candidate:
- Assist walk-in and phone-in customers in selecting required parts, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers, answer customer inquiries.
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
- Be friendly professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person.
- Keep current on new products and product updates.
- Participate in all training programs that are made available.
Skills:
- Heavy Truck or Equipment Industry experience required.
- At least one year of demonstrated leadership.
- Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time.
