What are the responsibilities and job description for the Key Account Manager position at Trackline?
Please note this role requires being on site in Jacksonville 3 days a week.
The idea candidate will have sales and business development experience working with vehicle OEMs.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the coordination of sales activities related to OEM customers. The Key Account Manager will support the relevant sales organization (global / regional / local) in the drive to identify new business, structure account sales initiatives and coordinate account tenders.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the key account plan. The Key Account Manager will have a close collaboration with the Heads of Sales, other Key Account Managers, Head of Contracts and Tender execution, the Chief Sales Officer and other members of the executive Management team.

Mandate :
Responsible for coordination of all Account Tenders.
Responsible for developing the commercial account strategy and in developing the customer interface.
Support the development of the trade plans.
Ensure a global structured Account Sales approach.
Support the development of the brand of the company and the service deliverance to the customer.

Main responsibilities :
Account Strategy
Responsible for the coordination of all tenders.
Support the implementation of market and business development strategies related to the account
Responsible for gathering proactive commercial forecasts related to the account
Coordinate account input to the trade plans
Responsible for recommendation of account business improvement and new business opportunities
Responsible for a unified Global Sales impact towards the account.
Commercial Impact
Design and implement a robust account Sales Structure
Responsible for coordination of the Key account team
Assist in planning, facilitate and execute strategic business planning process across all regions
Assist in Identifying new opportunities, to develop new client relationships and create business proposals
Ensure the best possible account tenders coordination and tender follow up.

Responsible for the key account team
Responsible for CRM information integrity
Shall ensure implementation and compliance of the company policies and procedure or Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System as required by ISO 9001,14001&45001 within the organization / department
Qualifications :
Education / experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or Maritime
Minimum five years of experience within the shipping industry with proven ability to drive change
Commercial experience from the shipping industry and Ro / Ro. The successful candidate should preferably have experience from direct sales and or from commercial activities in the regions.
